Children’s Activities:

Today was an exciting day for Miles. He couldn’t contain his enthusiasm as he successfully built a sandcastle, a task that had eluded him the other day. His face lit up with joy, and he eagerly shared his accomplishment with me, exclaiming, “Look, Sachina, I did it!”

Witnessing the genuine happiness on Miles’ face brought a sense of joy to me. Curious about the process, I asked, “How did you make it?” Miles explained his method, saying, “I fill the sand in the bucket and press the bucket bottom.” And I asked him to teach me.

This exchange not only highlighted Miles’ sense of achievement but also emphasized the importance of acknowledging and celebrating small victories in a child’s learning journey. The joy shared in this moment contributes to the positive and supportive environment that helps foster a child’s confidence and love for exploration and discovery.

This is the first activity I did with the children. They were so excited to do this. I drew a tree on a piece of paper, cut some additional paper to craft apples, and placed a dot on each apple for counting practice. The activity aimed to help the children with counting. I saw one of the children draw something on the paper, So I was interested in what he made. I asked him what you made- and he replied I made the branches for a tree. It helps me to get close to them during the activity. They enjoy the activity

After returning from the park, the children engage in drawing. So, Kassy set up the table and gave them some color and the paper portrait. So, children could freely express themselves. The act of sharing colors from the same plate not only encouraged creativity but also imparted a valuable lesson in sharing. It also helps them to learn how to communicate with others, share ideas, and work together.

This not only enhanced their skills but also foster a sense of unity among them.
